Kitchens, patios, shade structures, water features, elegant patio and floor surfaces that draw you to the space. Outdoor living is the best way to enjoy your house, and Blue Oak Landscaping can build your dream yard.
Most hardscape elements require a great deal of preparation that lies beneath the surface of the ground. It’s what you don’t see that makes the hardscape last forever.
Hardscape elements include:
- Pavers
- Slate and flagstone
- Travertine
- Brick
- Decorative walls
- Retaining walls
- Columns
- Outdoor kitchens
- Decorative and functional creeks
- Water features
The key to all these features is the infrastructure underground.
For walls and columns, we use concrete and reinforce with rebar.
For pavers and slat we use 6-8” of compacted aggregate.
For kitchens we use electrical, water lines, drains, gas lines and sometimes low voltage lights.
It’s all the stuff you don’t see that makes the stuff work above ground.
